Our Blue Moon tea is made with Butterfly Pea Flower, Soursop tea leaves and Ginger. This combination alone is packed with so many benefits!
Butterfly Pea Flower gives off a beautiful deep blue color. This flower is commonly found throughout South East Asia. Butterfly Pea Flowers is also known as Aprajita, Cordofan pea or Asian pigeonwings. This flower has been a legendary drink of choice mainly for its Ayurvedic properties.
Soursop, also known as Guanabana, Guyabona, Graviola and other names has well-known benefits. The fruit has anti-inflammatory properties said to have many beneficial effects. One of its well-known claims is its ability to help fight cancer. The leaves have powerful properties as well and can be used and made into wonderful teas.
Ginger is known for its warm and spicy kick. This common root is apart of the cardamom and turmeric family. Did you know there are tons of benefits when drinking ginger root? Ginger has been the go-to remedy for everything from the common cold, soothing an upset stomach, to even combating nausea during pregnancy for centuries. I guess you can call this root the ultimate healer.
Steep tea at 195 degrees for 3-4 minutes.
